Are you sure its the sweetness you crave? Dark chocolate tends to have less refined sugar in it than that abomination, milk chocolate. Might you be subconsciously self medicating with the bitterness of dark chocolate to aid digestion? What kind of greens are you selecting for your salads? Perhaps a more bitter leafy green like Dandelion leaves might resolve your craving, yes? There's a Traditional Chinese Medicine theory that suggests a meal should have each of five tastes in it; sweet. pungent, salty, sour, and bitter. Ayurvedics enclude one more, astringent. Depending on one's health, each of these tastes might need to be present in varyingly specific degrees.
